All Full Members in good standing who have held Membership with the organization for a minimum of one (1) year are eligible for this category and have been included on each year's ballot for consideration. Non-Members cannot be considered for this award.

Any nominated Member must remain in good standing for the duration of the voting period or risk disqualification.

Members who have previously been awarded TMA Manager of the Year become ineligible for a period of four (4) years after the receipt of their honor.*
