Biography:
LINDA REITMAN opened the doors to LINDA REITMAN MANAGEMENT over twenty years ago. She represents professional actors, writers, producers, directors, comedians and musical artists.
Her exemplary Industry experience includes working as an Associate to agent Walter Kohner, of Paul Kohner, Inc. At the time, the legendary agency represented such luminaries as writer/directors JOHN HUSTON and INGMAR BERGMAN and actors HOLLY HUNTER, KLAUS KINSKI and ANJELICA HUSTON, among others.
Previously, Ms. Reitman worked as a publicist, specializing in Entertainment Industry clients. Additionally, she is a published writer whose articles and reviews have appeared in dozens of magazines and newspapers worldwide. She has also written CD liner notes, concert notes, press releases and biographies for producers, public relations firms, management and record companies.
She was a producer at a world-renowned music venue for several years, bringing in an eclectic array of acclaimed artists including, KENNY G, DIZZY GILLESPIE, NAJEE, B. B. KING, TITO PUENTE, BEBE and CECE WINANS, comedian PAUL RODRIGUEZ, and more. She not only negotiated their fees and contracts, but she handled publicity and advertising with radio stations andnewspapers.
Ms. Reitman rounded out her Industry experience assisting the Vice President of Business Affairs at a major motion picture acquisition and distribution company, where she worked extensively with contracts.
Several years ago, she produced “A Tribute to Blue Mitchell,” her first professional producing credit, at the Musician’s Union, in Hollywood--where music legends AL JARREAU, SARAH VAUGHAN, HORACE SILVER, GEORGE SHEARING, BUDDY COLLETTE, CHICK CORREA, and many others performed--helping to raise over $10,000.00 for the late trumpeter’s widow.
More recently, Ms. Reitman produced "STARFIRE," with the writer, her client, Sam Ingraffia. This highly-acclaimed theater production ran for four months with standing ovations to sold-out audiences and starred her clients VANESSA MARCIL and TYLER CHRISTOPHER with Brian Austin Green and Art LaFleur.
Her clients have included: EVA LONGORIA ("Desperate Housewives"), VANESSA MARCIL ("Las Vegas"/"The Rock"), TONY TODD ("Candyman"/"The Rock"), TYLER CHRISTOPHER ("General Hospital"), PERSIS KHAMBATA ("Star Trek: The Motion Picture"), Award-winning Broadway actress/vocalist ELOISE LAWS and the LAWS FAMILY (with RONNIE LAWS, HUBERT LAWS, DEBRA LAWS), and others.
