The Talent Managers Association (founded in 1954) is a Non-Profit Mutual Benefit Corporation, an association of professional Talent Managers who have shown themselves to be ethical, knowledgeable and skilled as talent/artist/literary managers and have thus been accepted as such by their peers. The Association exists for the benefit of its members, the talent represented by the members and the profession of Talent Management.

Purpose
To promote and encourage the highest standards of professional ethics and behavior in the practice of talent management. Further, the Association seeks to enhance the entertainment industry by its presence and involvement within it.
